Who has VT stage 1 or 2 cams in a daily driver, I am looking for the best "bang-for-buck" cam for my daily driven car. I am leaning towards stage II at this time, but am concerned about its low end torque loss and how they are in daily usage situations. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks

Stg 1s are your best bet...no spring change, no loss of lowend torque, and the stg 2s only surpass the 1s @ around 4500RPMs and make around 10RWHP more at peak. Adverage HP should be down too. I have stg 1s and LOVE them...Best shiftpoint at the track was 6000-6200RPM depending on gear...stg 2s would move that up to 6300-6500 ish....not to healthy for our motors.

I just put in the stage 2's and so far, they are awsome. Personally, I wouldnt do a cam swap without a spring swap. I have a 00 GT with about 50K on it and my redline is 5900. I dont think I would be comfortable running my engine past redline with stock springs even with the stock cams in it. I really didnt/havent noticed a loss of low end power with these cams. Feels about like stock. After 3000 RPM, its like a kick in the butt.
