Walked out of a 7-11 the other day....

Walked out of a 7-11 the other day, just sipping on my slurpee.... well I had parked on the side of the building like I always do (I don't beleive in parking next to people:rlaugh:). And as I was walking out a couple with their two children are in front of me, as we round the corner of the building their older child (no older then 6) goes "Mustang!"....needless to say this made me chuckle a little to myself knowing that there is still faith in today's youth, but what really got me was his dad replied "What kind of mustang?" and he said........"COBRA!" I just had to share this story with you guys, not gonna lie, it pretty much made my day :D

my niece who just turned 5 can point out any Mustang. might have something to do with me having mine, my brothers 06 GT, and her grampa's 70 & 03 Mach 1's.

Only story of recent memory I can relate is that I was leaving my neighborhood one day, and a group of three 10-year-olds were walking back from the park. As I left the stop sign, the engine let my presence be known and they all started waving and I heard them say "Cool car!"

As a similar story...not quite, but still cool nonetheless...yesterday I was heading into town and drove by this one house...had a little kid, maybe 5 years old, out in the front yard driving around in his red Power Wheels Mustang. Had his shades on and everything. I thought that was pretty cool. :)

I have received several compliments on my car back in the day from younger guys, but one stands out the most.

He called my Notch the most beautiful Mustang in all of my town. I felt pretty honored that someone worshipped my car more than I did. He would always stop by at the local town cruise nights and give mad props to my car. Anyways, one day this kid stops bye in an 89 firebird with a built 350 and a so/so body to show me what he had built.

He comes over telling me that he had about 12 invested in her and I told him, son, if you had put 12G cash on the hood of this car I would have given you the title.

He quietly turned around, got back into his car and left. I never heard from him again. I seriously hope he did not go home and commit suicide.
