You bring up the point of how a stocker sounds.
About a year ago I was at one of my long time gear-head friends house and he made a remark about my cam lope.
I told him I had been working very hard with the tune and was quite pleased at how stock like it idled.
He just about laughed me out of the garage and told me I had gotten used to how my car idled and it in no way sounded like a stock Stang. I just kinda blew off his remark and thought no more about it.
Just so happens shortly after that a guy moves in across the street from me who had a little fox hatch back Stang. I heard him start it up and it was like
purrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
or maybe
buzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
Walked back in the house, called up my friend and told him .......... he was right and I was mistaken ................. just a little bit
But hey, it does idle real steady like
