Hi,
I am thinking of replacing the factory speakers in my 93 lx vert. I would like to put components up front, replacing the 31/2" dash speakers with the tweeter but I would like to retain the stock speaker grill look. Looking for the easiest way to mount these in that enclosure. I will be putting in a Dual XHD7714 CD receiver and removing the factory amp as well. Thanks

I traced the 3 1/2 speaker including the mounting tabs onto a piece of MDF. Then traced the tweeter into the center. I used a jigsaw to cut out the hole for the tweeter then the cut along the outside trace. I then trimed down the MDF so it was only about a 1/4 thick. The tweeter was a tight fit so I didn't need anything to secure it down. Plus it will be close to the grill so it won't have any place to go. Then paint them black or whatever color your dash is.

Thanks for the info.
