I'm planning on loosing the 3" tailpipes and cobra rear bumper on my car. I like the stock gt stuff better. I was going to dump it before the rear axle w/ some turndowns. I want to cut the tails off at home. I have a cut off wheel but don't really want to use it. Sparks and laying on my back isn't fun. So my question is do they make some sort of tool to cut the pipe. I thought I remember some sort of chain attached to a wrench handle that wrapped around the pipe and was just twisted to cut through. Not sure what this is called maybe it's a plumbers tool or something. Anyone know what I'm talking about?

another vote for sawz-all,I think you can rent them at a home depot or, lowes. Just buy your own blade. I cut mine in like 5 seconds. So much better than a cutting disc.

I know the thing your talking about. It has to razors that clamp to each side of the pipe and u just spin it like 1000 times. Just use the cutoff wheel. Sawzall might be hard to maneuver. I know mine is somewhat large and heavy to be using under a car. Just use a mask and gloves because you'll be very mad at yourself when you get metal in your eye. And also you wouldn't exactly have to be under the car... Lift the rear, put jack stands under the axle tubes stoppers in front of the front tires take the wheels off and then you could get a sawzall in easier or the cutoff tool. Sorry to go through the steps like that. Some people don't know, not sayin you dont ok.
