Warning SLP Loudmouth Exhaust

Hey. I went to the SLP exhaust plant in Toms River NJ with a friend. We went to see what the exhaust sounded like on a 4.6 GT. It was the most anoyin sound i ever heard. It gave me like a migrane that i had for the rest of the day. For one thing it doesnt get loud till like 3K rpm. People say 2k but its really 3k. Its loud but high pitched. If you get it youll be anoyed in like 30 min unless you dont get all up in it when you drive.

A buddy of mine got the SLP catback on his `95 5.0 and I don't care for the sound. It sounds like a big V8 Chevy truck. The ONLY reason I'd even consider that system is because it's reasonably priced for an SS system and most owners are happy with the quality/fit. They say it flows very well also but so far, I think I much prefer the Magnaflow systems in terms of sound.

I hope the SLP sounds a lot different (better) on a 4.6 because I didn't care for the sound on his 5.0. He is running stock shorties and an o/r H though, so perhaps I'd like it better with longtubes and/or an o/r X pipe.

i rode in SLP's 4.6 project car with it and the car had long tube headers and a an catted x and it was so raspy. I like magnaflow better also i actually have that cat back on my stang.

I also rode in their 2003 GT with their full exhuast system and i liked the sound. it sounds quiter in the car than u'd expect when u get out and listene to it. Definetly didn't leave there with a migrane, i actually left there with an intent to go back and get everything for my stang.

hot88mustang your one of the few people who feel that way..but anyways its all opinion..so everybody has a preference..but i have the slp loudmouth on my car and i love it,in fact,if it were a women..i'd make love to it every night..the exhaust is INSANE and its deep and has alot more balls then ANY mustang exhaust on the market..my good buddy has a 03 gt with magnapacks and lets just say he wishes he had my exhaust..the loudmouth screams at higher rpm but quiet at idle..if you had a migrane then you might have a unknown medical condition and need to get checked out quick!

SLP wasnt deep to me like a pair of flowmaster 40's. It was like loud and high pitched kinda like a ricer. You dont feel that it is very raspy?

To make a sound clip you can 1. use a labtop, 2. use a cam corder.

idont care what anybody says the slp exhaust makes the stang sound like a pos gm
product. i dont care if the system flows like a sewer pipe they will never go on my car.

I love the sound of my SLp xpipe +SLp loudmouth..definitly loud and not raspy at all...
