water woes

I hit this huge water hole the other night on my way home and the car felt like it dropped a cylinder. I thought maybe I sucked a little water in the fenderwell CAI and fouled a plug. Next day I check the plugs and#3 and #5 are not firing and #6,7&8 are black. I put all new plugs in. # 3 spark returned but none on #5 and 6,7,8 are still fouling. I have changed distributor cap , wires, rotorbutton and plugs. Now what

do you have one of those spark tester jobbies you can get from napa, that looks like an alligator clip connected to a spark plug?
Try that. It would tell you if it's in the wires, or the plug itself.
Then, correct me if I'm wrong, but I think you can try it directly on your coil too, to see if it's in the distributor.
Looks like you might just need to do some troubleshooting there. A timing light can come in kinda handy sometimes too.
