Well kinda bought it a couple months ago. Got it very cheap (next to nothing). Needed some carb work done to it, and needs a good bit of interior work done. Its an inboard with a 2.3 Tempo motor. We rebuilt the carb and it has been running pretty good. It got to 40 and was smooth. That was the 2nd time out with it. 1ST time not really any issues at all. Stalled a few but fired back up. Well Saturday we were running about 3/4 throttle and it just died, like someone turned the key off. Found that (on the water) the coil had a bunch of clean oil on the terminal end. Coil BLEW. Well boat is here @ the shop and we have the part in, just waiting for time to put it back on and fire it back up to see if thats all it was. Wish me luck.
