yesterday i saw a white gt like mine with 18inch deep dish FR500 on it and i loved the way it looks and im considering looking into some of those but i looked up the weight and it is 31lbs a wheel which is probably much heavier than mine i have the base 5spoke alloy wheels will the weight make much difference or what?

10lbs of rotating mass = 100lbs of dead weight, or 1/10 in the quarter mile. Stock GT wheels are generally 17x8 aluminum and fairly light, no where near 31lbs. This is the main reason why I am keeping my stock wheels, and when the time comes, the most my car will see is a light 17x9 wheel (steeda ultralites most likely). While fat tires look great, my car is slow enough as it is and really does not need the traction of a 315 tire. Here's a good link to some wheel weights
