I currently looking at buying some Weld Drag lite rims. Ive heard they wont fit. But Ive seen a bunch cars with them on em.

Wondering what does it take to make them fit properly.

Also, What sizes to run on the front and what size tire.

If I can figure out how to make them fit, Ima run 10in wide in the rear, wonder what size tire would be best for this also.

Thanks in advance.

Somebody be my lifesaver.

I think on certain models, you must retain the stock GT brakes, because the wheels will not clear Cobra calipers.

OK, I figured out the fronts. My uncle had one laying around and I test fit it. Gotta use a 7/16 spacer, 5/16 is what I had on hand, fit but was a little to close for comfort.

Now Im wondering If I can fit 10"wide in the back.

Yes you need 6.5" BS for the rear.

Are there any skinny's that will fit with the front Cobra brakes? and won't make the wheels sick out past the fender like a sore thumb?

There is a guy who had a lot of ... RELIABLE ... info on running Weld 15" Prostars
on 94-95 Stangs

Don't know if it is applicable to the Drag Lites
or
Don't even know if the info is still there

but ... here is the link I've had for some time now

ill ask my buddy to post a pic of his 95 cobra.

he has prostars and had to use a one inch spacer to clear his cobra brakes but the wheels are nice and flush!

not the best pic for what you are looking for but you can get the idea.

You buying them cause you like their look, or because you want the weight savings? If it's just for the look, take a gander at the Summit versions. The look exactly the same and are a lot cheaper in price.
