Finally got her dropped in the car. Now just waiting on headers. They sent me headers for a 5.0 not a 351 dammit. If I get the headers this week she will be running by the weekend. Any guesses on what she should run on the track? I don't have much experience with 351 based motors. It's a 408 running low compression (8.85:1) waiting for boost over winter or next year. I am seriously looking for guesses to what she should run. Are 11's possible? Stock T5 though , for now. Looks like the hood is going to be getting a little trim to be able to close.

I might be wrong but you might have a small issue with the hood rubbing

11s sound right, hell mabey even high tens. I saw a 408 N/A with a five speed run 10.88 on Pass Time

Holy intakes! Sucks about the header mix-up, hopefully they get em to you this week. Its hard to say what she will run though, i dont know the specifics of it. Best of luck with it though

Here's the build:

Dart Block 351 stroked to 408 (all forged)
TFS CNC Highport Race Heads (they flow bench over 360cfm @5000rpm)
TFS Box R Intake
36# injectors
Small Cam because of low compression
65mm throttle body (waiting for 90mm to come in from back order)
90mm Lightning MAF

That's about all I can think of performance wise. 3.73 gears in the rear. I also do have a 300 shot of go juice that can be thrown at it that is plumbed in but I think the tranny would explode.

Well...dunno about 11's but i guess it could be possible if the cam isnt too small...im sure that shot of juice could fix that though! Im sure it'll be stupid sick once you get some boost on it.

I wish i had gone low comp. when i did mine; now id have to pull it all back apart to add boost. lol....
