Last nite, i ran for the 3rd time on the drag radials, and i felt MUCH better on my first pass. I ran 14.2@96.6 with a 2.01 60' time. I rolled thru the water, did a 5ish second 2nd gear burnout, and launched at 3500. I still cant get the 60' times down on these tires!! My best on these tires was that run, shouldn't i be at least 1.90 which would squeak me into the 13's? AHH this is killing me! My buddy also mentioned that one one of my burnouts, one of my tires would spin, then it would stop, then it would spin...is something wrong here? Like my trac-loc biting the dust?

I think some tracks are just too slippery for me sometimes. When I ran 75/80 track I was real loose. Then I went to capitol raceway and got tons of traction. Go figure.

congrats! what was the tire pressure? I know the feeling, i've been trying to break into the 12's forever!

Definately should look at that rear end. That will hurt your launch. You might be overpowering one wheel, which could account for your 2.0 60fts.

thanks guys! yea everyone there tells me that im an awesome driver and whatnot for getting these times with my small amount of mods, so i guess im decent enough, but im pissed that im still only gettin 2.0 60' times...i guess ima have to get my rear looked at, and possibly have it rebuilt....hey, as long as their in there, they may as well install some gears

mootang, tire pressure was at 15 for the first 2 runs, and 12 for the last...i didnt really notice a difference...

id try launching higher. my buddy with nitto's holds it right at 5000 and slips it out. and gets 1.8's all day. and another friend with a 97 cobra slips it off the limiter

negatory...stock 3.08's.... i think im gonna have to rebuild my diff, so over the winter, i think im gonna get an 03 cobra diff, some superior 31 spline axles, and 3.73 gears...

I always found it harder to launch with a lower ratio (numerically speeking) that is.

On tires other than slicks ...... even all the more so

Sounds like your t-lock is getting a bit weak
