Well I got a new start!!

I got a great hook-up from a very cool guy > corey97svt hooked me up with a complete long block the motor is now sitting in my driveway waiting to be mounted on the motor stand!!! (tomorrow) hehehe > it is a low milage motor that had a pistion problem and tomorrow I'll find out just how bad> and hopefully if all is good than monday I'll order new pistions for my cobras new heart / if I can fly it under the wife's radar it might get a new set of rods too. I can't wait till I get it open!!!

Work really kicked my A$$ this week I haven't even opened the crate yet hopefully i'll do something tomorrow !! > I have been shopping for a new cowl hood

Well I gutted the motor tonight and just as i was warned it has three cracked pistions in it and a little wear in the walls it also had two bearings that were tring to spin a little but nothing unexpected . head are fine and pretty clean > I'm going to do some looking in to a 4.6 > 302(5.0) stroker kit and see what the cost is going to be> but if it's too much then back to the 5.4 idea I'll up date as it go's.
