Well, i guess i'll see you all later

that dude is going to spend the night at some hotel, gets on a flight tommorow to Texas. It's funny after the layovers and on the last flight you (I did anyway), notice that everyone on the plane is 18-20 yrs old,, mostly dudes. Then it begins, you land in San Antonio, some cat with a smokey bear hat huddles you up on a bus, and it gets quiet, real quiet. Off the bus at like 2am, sleep for an hour if you can, big Mutha F'er comes in in the morning throwin trash cans around, screamin yellin, kinda like Full Metal Jacket, but mind you that;s Hollywood interpretation. Man, I had a blast at basic, you and like 30-40 people from around the country, strugglin to get by, and the stuff you do for fun...but you start to think, WTF did I get myself into, then people get hurt to get out, claim they're gay to get out blahblah...we had one when I was there try to run away..caught him at the gate. blah blahblah, man that was fun. good luck to mootang and anyone else joining the service :flag:

Yup, first year at Virginia Tech. I really don't know what to expect.

Aw snap really? That's where I go. I'm goin down this Friday as well. Who knows, maybe we'll run into each other down there. Oh and by the way, the car club is all imports and a couple V6 stangs...just to save you the disappointment (I was excited that VT had a car club till I saw it was a bunch of import tuners). Shoot me an IM sometime when you get down there (aim: Gian****erPail ...yea I know it's a wierd ass screen name). I wont have my car there this fall, but I will be bringin it down in the spring.

I dont know what to expect in college either, hopefully not a lot of homework :D
I start the 25th and have every friday off, 3day weekends every week will be fun
I would say not a lot of homework, just the tests really become difficult. Although, it all depends on where you go to school, what you are going to school for, and even who you have as a teacher. My best advice would be to get to know people older than you in your major and ask for advice on who to take classes with, that has made my college experience that much easier.
