and by big plunge i mean i ordered rims.... chrome saleen rims 18x9 24mm offset 5.85" backspacing. I'm running the svo/mark7 five lug/4disk setup. i dont care about the centercaps fitting but what all do i need to do to get the rims and tires not to rub. I know ive asked this on a few differant threads but all i did was get confused. thanks guys:SNSign:

I'm pretty sure you're going to have issues with the rear tires with those long axles.

At minimum, flip the quad and roll the lips. You may also need to massage the inner fender.

Good Luck and post up pics..

crap, so the rims arent going to fit? how do i roll fenders? cuz i think im going to have to do so. and swapping quad shocks would also be good do i just unbolt it and flip it around or do i have to switch sides with them? if i get new lca's do i need quad's anymore?

Grab ya a sledge hammer and pound away to roll the fender wells. I took my quads off my 95 gt and they are off my 93 coupe and i have no wheel hop. But then again i have upper and lower control arms. So if ya have arms in the rear then your quads are just taking up space. You might get away without running quads with no aftermarket arms? Some do some dont? peace

your gonna have to runa short tire to have any hope of it working in the rear...

+1 - jmd2914, I tried to help you and even gave you a bunch of threads to read about what you NEED to do to run the 18x9s. In the future, do the research before you drop the $$, b/c mistakes will cost you even more $$$$ .... good luck.

thanks man, i read the threads and they helped, i want to make the rims fit, i knew it was gonna take some work but i couldnt pass up the deal i got on them. so let me see if i have all this straight for what im going to have to do. roll my fenders, grind the lip off my front rotors. swap my quad shocks in the back and roll my fenders in the back. am i missing anything?
