well i was goin to wait till december to get my exhaust b/c i was still deciding on what combo i wanted. i was goin to get Pypes shorty ceremic headers with their x-pipe and violator c/b.

well i was on e-bay today and saw a flowmaster am/thunder c/b with 2.5 pipes and pollished 2.5 tips for $210.00 bran new from K.S. Auto Performance Store. i pounced on it.

i will be getting BBK l/t's and DR.GAS o/r x-pipe in december. i know x pipes and flows don't belong, and i used to agree until i heard one in person last week. he had factory manifolds with DR.GAS xpipe and AM/THunders. it was DEEP,RASPY,and LOUD as hell. thats what i like. x-pipes sound awesome with flows. i can't wait to hear it with that set up and the bbk's. thanks for reading.
jay.

well i might be doing a change in my x-pipe decision. only b/c the dr.gas pipe comes in pieces and i don't like that. its a pita. i know i could get it welded but why go through all that b.s. so i guess i've got to look around for another pipe that doesn't cost an obsene amount for an o/r.

25th did you like your spintechs on your fox? we have 'em on a high compression 347 shelby, and they sound sick, but im not so sure on fox's.

I do like them. I havent been able to drive the car much as it is sans doors, hood, fenders, interior, trunk and all kinds of other important things for driving. From taking it up and down the street I really think its going to sound good. I need someone to drive it for me, as the videos I have suck, and the car really screams when I move it out of the garage (only time I really hear it under a load without being in it).

Look in VRS. I got my OR X (they have them for Mac and BBK) for $165 or 185 plus shipping I believe. Definately a nice piece and sounds really good!

I have heard some horror stories about the BBK X's. I heard their design makes them sound bad, but cant vouch for them. The nice thing is, you know they will work well with your headers!

yeah but i've heard they sound tinny too. 189 is a great price too.

i also came across some cam t-304 polished stainless shorty headers for 200. i've back and forth so many times about c/b,shorty or longtubes,x's, h's. this ****e is really getting to me. a buddy of mine said that the cam shorty are among the best. and that i should consider them or some other shorty b/c i do plan on lowering my lx.what do u guys think?
signed totally confused.

i've heard the same but i dont know what people mean about the "tinny" sound.

i have stock shorties/bbk off road X/flowmaster 2 chambers and at idle it sounds real nice...but just off idle-2000...ehhhh yuck i dont really care for it. it does scream at WOT though, enough to make me smile.

its not enough to make me bother with swapping it out though.

My Jeg's O/R X-pipe was only $165 plus shipping. Looks pretty quality so far, but I won't have a chance to hook it up and see how the fitment goes until Thursday.

IMHO, you would've been happier with the sound from the Pypes Violators than you will with the Flows. Oh well ... you can always just swap 'em out later on...
