How about backing up your statements for once instead of just making incredibly biased un-educated remarks such as this one? Sure some people have broken their upr suspension parts just like im sure some people have broken their Maximum motorsports suspension parts. One person has a hard time and all of a sudden ALL UPR stuff sucks....I run the UPR coilovers with QA1 k-member and control arms and love it...wouldn't go any other way...

Do some research and you'll see there is nothing wrong with UPR parts. Tons of people run them and love them.

I have been on this forum WAY long enough and have seen all the Bad with UPR. I have even been sent defective parts from UPR and they tried to give my BS with sending their "Defective" part back.....

If i can find the thread with the Cracked UPR K-members on the Corral then i will post it up.....

Still to this day, I have seen ZERO problems with MM parts, and MM has the best Customer Service of ANY company out there bar-none.

Only thing you will find is the cracked a arm from last year. That is one out of thousands.

Have you ever even held a tub k member in your hands? I checked out pretty much all of them and a lot in person before I bought mine. There is only two I would trust for any type of driving on the street. Also, I don't know if I would trust ANY tub a-arm on the street. I formed my opinion from research and personally checking things out. In the end I spent the money on the one that was bulky, and would accept stock a-arms. Just reading and making a blanket statement wasn't good enough for me, my car, or my money.

I personally feel a lot of the k members out there are for drag only set ups. I know people that have used them on the street for a **** ton of miles and never had a problem(UPR btw). Without personal knowledge you're forming an opinion, not a fact. Thats how half the **** on these boards get started.

Drone is the most worsetest thing evar OMG!!11 W
UPR K member will make your motor fall out of your car WTF BBQ!!$@4
ANYTHING slp will make your car sound like a dump truck, but magna packs are great HOAXOR@@$22!!
Stock suspension can't do ****. Get a prokit and you will cut 1.3 60'sYAY FOR JESUS
Mac exhaust will not fit your car and will cause the floor board to fall out from under you while driving>!!!!113.
MGW shifter is the only thing to have. Its carved from Chuck Norris ball hair FTW !!!!1

Sad part is almost all of the people saying these statments are just repeating what they read from very missinformed others to raise their post counts.

Well technically ive been on this forum longer than you. You're right about MM, they do make great products and its hard to find people who have had problems with their stuff. And yea they do have great customer service. Im in now way bashing MM.

However, I think its BS how one person has one bad experience with UPR and all of a sudden all UPR stuff is junk. Unless you have personally had a bad experience, or you can reference more than one thread with complaints about the quality of UPR parts, then i think your opinion is very biased and without adequate knowledge.

I'm just saying, if you're going to bash them, back it up with some facts or references, pictures, anything....

Just out of curiosity, why are you going with solid motor mounts? I'd be concerned about getting my teeth chattered out....

yeah, i hope it's not to bad, but with the hard lanches, i could feel the motor jump with the stock ones, and with the big cams, the LT's would bang on somthing and drive me crazy

Not sure what BS you are referring to but if there is a defective part we (UPR) will take care of it.

As for K-member please show me a cracked one because there has never been one reported back to us. There was a "defective" A arm that in fact was not cracked and we even had the A arm sent to the tubing manufacturer who x-rayed the metal to see what the mark was on the arm. The "crack" was actually what is called lamination where excess metal can overlap and leave what appears to be a seam during the tube making process. The lamination was .064" wide by .009", which is quite literally thinner than your finger nail.

More importantly the customer that got this A arm was taken care. Unfortunately many people read that on multiple different forums and only read the first page and never read the rest where the customer was happy and the findings were posted to show the part was in fact not at risk of breaking.

Back to the main thread. Looking forward to seeing the results.

If a vendor is on the forums representing themselves and being responsive to customers that really impresses me. Also it sounded like the OP had made his brand choice, no need to second guess a decision the OP had already made SRTHandz...

Its all good though SRTHandz is a long standing and respected member here he is entitled to his opinion also, he is just wrong in this case and we all make mistakes.

Ok, This UPR BS has finally pissed me off enough.

Next week I am calling UPR and requesting that they replace my defective Spherical Bushings they they sent me with my Bumpsteer kit.... and the 4 other replacements they sent me which were Defective.

I got tired of UPR wasting my time, and my money.... So I will call them this week and record the Convo for Youtube to hear.....

Well i already called them once explaining that the Spherical Bushings they sent me were defective and had play in them (which was pointed out by my alignment guy who only sets up track cars all day).

Once i told them they sent me a defective part, they started drilling me on how I knew if it was defective (even though there is PLAY IN THE SPHERICAL BUSHING ITSELF) and they wanted to charge me Money to send me another sent of bushings when THEY sent me defective bushings from the get go.

So Paid there money and they sent me ANOTHER set, i paid for ANOTHER alignment, all to find out that ALL THE BUSHINGS THEY SEND ARE DEFECTIVE CHEAP CHINA CR*P THAT HAS PLAY IN IT!!!!

I was so pissed i never called UPR back.... But i think now is the time....

Please do keep in mind that the majority of the time when we get calls about defective suspension parts it's an install issue. I know you say that you had a track guy setting it up but that's what everyone says. It's pretty rare for an un-used spherical bearing to just be bad so that's why our tech and sales staff will ask questions. If it is an install issue then sending the new parts isn't going to fix anything and then both sides just continue to get frustrated. I'm not in anyway saying that is the case here but just how we have to handle calls in regards to defective parts.

Well Mr. UPR Rep..... I have a Total of four (4) unused UPR spherical bushings for the UPR bumpsteer kit and they are ALL defection.... and they were ALL NEVER INSTALLED.

.... But then I know UPR is gonna tell me "How do you know its not defective until you install it?"..... To which i would reply "They ALL HAVE PLAY IN THE BUSHINGS!!!!"

....and also, How Do you install a Spherical Bushing Wrong on a Bumpsteer Kit?

So Mr. UPR Rep, Should i send these bushings back and get new ones that arnt defective.... Because UPR charged me $50 for 4 bushings.....

You would be amazed what people do but that's another story altogether.

Also just for the record I'm not a rep per say other than the fact that I work for UPR, I actually work in the back office but I take pride in our parts and have been a Mustang enthusiast for many years.

Check your PMs in a minute.
