I would suspect high demand here in the beginning and longer waits.

Just got home from the Ford dealership after placing my order and talking mustangs with the one guy there. Black on black prem. coupe I got with 3:73 rear end, spoiler delete, and Brembo brake package. I didnt wanna put the vehicle in my grandpas' name since its mine so just went with the X plan instead of the A. about a 1400 difference. No biggie though since we live in different states ect would have to transfer everything ect so. My X plan price with options was 33,606. After tax and all that good stuff total was 35,211 after my 1,000 deposit. Once the car arrives im gonna put another two grand down so should only be financing 33 grand. Any guess on payments? 600 a month im thinking? My 04 cobra when i bought new was near 34 and my payment was 630 a month.

How long will you have to wait? I would go crazy knowing there was a 2011 Mustang out there with my name on it and I couldn't drive it NOW

It will have been worth the wait once you get it tho. What is the first thing you're going to do to it?

Prob gonna have to wait a few months for it to be built ect, since they just started building not to long ago and im sure there is a big line of them being built. Dunno if im gonna do anything to it actually. Get some window tint and prob exhaust but I dont wanna void the warranty or anything on this 36k mustang.

That sounds like a Great plan, all Mustangs need some kind of exhaust system IMO.

I hear you about this, I just bought my 2006 GT with 26,000 miles on its clock, I guess that made the car "certifiable" which meant I could pay an extra 9 bucks a month for a 3 year 36k mile factory warranty, so I too need to do my homework before doing anything that could void my warranty.

I asked the guy at the ford dealership about having a K&N filter, as he said even that will void the warranty, imagine that

What kind of calculator are you using? 34,000/72 = 472.2

First of all, a score close to 700 will not put you in Tier 1. I doubt Ford will be offering 0% anytime soon on the 2011 Mustangs. So, at $33k, you are looking at round $700/mo. for 60 months.

Sorry forgot 34k was after we added the options... I believe it was 29-30k at 429$ with 0% It's 472$ at 0% with 34k.

You can get 0% for 72 if you have 800 or more on your credit score

0% for 72? Maybe on a 2010, but not a 2011.

sure why not? Almost nobody has 800 or more on their credit nowadays...

I agree though. With the 5.0 being brand new they are going to want money, so that means no deals for a while...

Hey, I'm close. 788. Still though, I want a 2011. I'll just have to wait a year or so.
