Gotta say i was a little disapointed with my runs... But i think my track is slow... i dont know
best slip:
rt: .591 (.500 is perfect)
60ft 2.064
trap: 80.65
1/8 9.144

I lost to the sti in the other lane by .033

all my 60fts were 2.0-2.1
traps were between 80.07-80.65
all runs were 9.1-9.2
about 70 degrees out and very very humid.. it later rained
What do you guys think? My wheels are very heavy like 55lbs i think
mods are in sig

the humidity doesn't help and the wheels may have slowed you down a bit, but i see no reason why you shouldn't be hitting 8.7-8.8 and a few mph higher. where you power shifting?

Yeah that is what i thought Um well i lifted about halfway on the throttle when i ripped each shift,so not completely powershifting but i was grabbing rubber in each gear. I dont think i could have shifted it any better. If i powershifted it would have just spun the tires more i think But i dont know the shift points. I was just changing it up somewhere between 5500-5800. Never really figuring out what worked best. I got about 15 runs in...

what kind of tires are you using also ? you say you were griping but you prob could of pushed your car more at least after you get past 1-2 you should always be able to powershift unless your car makes some crazy power

what's the elevation of the track i live in the mountains so elevation kicks me in the nutz when i go racing. then i come one here & see all these people posting these time slips, & i'm like why can't i do that, then i remember the altitude

btw - so far my best run has been (on worn street tires, soon to be replaced)

r.t. - .046 (.000 is perfect)
60 - 2.195
330- 5.825
e.t. - 9.045
mph- 80.18

i have longtubes, prochamber & weld in flowpaths & that's it. so with a better weather day, you've definately got better times in it

elevation is about 1000 ft i think. I willl just try going to a different track i guess. Or i just need to learn to drive?? Rock falls wisc. here i come!!

might wanna try shifting around 5200-5400 b/c thats where our cars peak at in power and torque

With your mods, you should be seeing 8s. Are you spinning out of the hole, or is it hooking? Only thing I see is your 18s are slowing you

But trapping 80 mph is damn good I think.

You don't want to shift right at peak power, but just enough above it to start the next gear as high in the power band as possible without dropping too much power in the gear you are currently in. 5800-6000 is usually a good shift point.

You should be doing a lot better
with my mods my best is a 8.71 with a 1.9 60ft and I could of shaved 1 to two tenths off if I wanted and this is without the new clutch and the off road x.
I would think you would be faster then me with your mods.
drag radials will help but it looks like there is something else wrong.
