First time to the track last night and I must say I was very pleased!!

I only did two runs both with a faily hot engine, no track prep, over a half a tank of gas, and didnt lower tire pressure.

First run:

60 ft - 2.0602
1/8 ET - 8.4061
1/8 MPH - 85.57
1/4 ET - 12.9731
1/4 MPH- 107.14

Second run:

60 ft - 2.0732
1/8 ET - 8.3389
1/8 MPH - 86.40
1/4 ET - 12.8651
1/4 MPH- 107.65

I actually thought my second run was worst because I spun in second badly so it looks like I need some BFGs or some MT ET Streets.

Same times I run with the kit, cept I trap a bit higher and spin on drag radials lol... I think my best 12.9X had a 2.4 sixty foot and I spun half way through my 2nd gear LOL I'm wanting a solid rear end again... now that I've been dragging the car so much (SIGH!).

What track was this at?? Muncie? US41?

Good times! Do yourself a favor and pick up a set of 15" wheels w/ MT ET streets. That should help your 60' a bunch. Then do a stall and tranny cooler

IRP. Muncie is crap - word is they are converting to 1/8th mile because the runoff sucks so bad (bumpy and narrow) + the left lane has a good 6" dip about 1/8th out lol.

Auto will help your times, not hurt. If I had any weight transfer and traction I would be in the low twelves on a good pass I figure But I like corner carving too so I'm confused on what to do haha.

How is that Osceola place - good track prep? Perhaps I'll hit them up next week on my way up to Toledo to pickup a friend...

I don't think it gets much worse than Muncie...seriously, it's like an old country road.....with a christmas tree and thats about it.

Not bad at all man! But definatly room for improvement! Im was running that and a 108.8 trap with my N/A GT . Odd thing was that I had no traction problems once I got going from the 4K launch....2nd-4th made just a chirp, no spinning.

You guy's tracks must seriously suck in the prep department...there is bound to be a good one somewhere close .

Well, back from Martin and all I can say is . Tonight was some church race or something and all these slow a$$ cars drug water on to the track. There was NO track prep whatso ever. First run was like a 13.97. I had another bad run (13.7x) and then things got "better" if you could say that. The fastest I ran was a 12.86 @ 108.97 so I did pick up almost 2 mph but was still spinning badly. My 60fts were 2.1-2.3s so I know I am atleast a 12.70 or 12.60 car for sure. I was talkin to a friend and he said with some MT ET Streets ( I have shi**y 555Rs now) I could prolly get a 12.5 out of it.

One good note I did beat an 02-04 ZO6.
