So, I went to the track tonight and now I need a new clutch and cable . I havn't done anything to the Stang in a couple months, so now I have a reason. Lol. Anyways, I guess its time for a light weight flywheel, new clutch, cable, quadrant, throw out bearing, firewall adjuster and while I'm at I think I am going to add some 4.10's also.

On a positive note, the run before my clutch fried I nailed a .000 reaction time and a 1.961 60 ft, not all was lost I guess.

Ill post all the details of the run when I get home later and can get the time slip. There was still a little tire spin in 1st and 2nd. That's when the clutch started feeling a little funny. One day I may shell out the money and drive up to Gainesville and race on a good track to see what the difference is, if any. Anways, I'll throw the numbers up later this afternoon or evening.

Ok, sorry it took me so long to get back. I ham helping the g/f move and i started a new job today. Anways, here's the numbers:

R/T = .000
60' = 1.961
330' = 5.749
1/8 = 8.872 @ 78.64
1000 = 11.551
1/4 = 13.808 @ 99.84

What is throwing me off is that I am obviously hooking up ok, but I am running a similar E.T. than I was when I had my Summitomo's on (13.833) instead of my drag radials (13.808). My 60' times have improved though. I am just guessing its due to stock suspension and gears. Also, all the mods I have to my car are listed in my sig.

My next round of mods are: aluminum fly wheel, way better clutch (t.o.b. and pilot bearing as well), aluminum drive shaft, and 4.10's, then re tune the car.

Any thoughts/feed back would be appreciated.

could have been all the heat and humidity too. last i ran my car i got like an 8.85 with a better 60' but my trap was lower cause of the heat. i was on nittos as well and hooked alright. normally i trap 80
