what about the ford racing block

ok i put down here earlier that im doing a 4 cyl to 8 cyl conversion and am wondering if its even worth going through the junks and rebuilding a 302 if it has over 100 000 miles on it when i can get a Brand New one for 1300 including crank and all that im pretty sure everybody has seen it ,

does anybody have this part and im sorry if this has been covered b4 and I searched through alot, its 3 in the morning right now so sry if things dont sound clearly also i was wondering about the hyperutic pistons idk how its spelled does that slow it down to 215 horsepower like it did in 93 when they switched to those type pistons

thank you for your help

if your not going for power it will be fine, I had the gt-40 crate motor for 100,000 miles, 5-6 track week-ends a couple of them with my dad-so double duty on the car. 1 140+mile per hour run on the freway plus a hand full of dyno pulls. what killed the motor was a error I bought the wrong timing chain, it was a little thicker in the gear I had the motor in a early car with a mechanical fuel pump...the excentric rubbed the cover and aluminum clogged the oil pump
