Besides the obvious of the engine and tranny. I may be buying a 87 notch 4 cyl. I am going to use it as a daily driver, but I know eventually I would like to do a convert to v8. If anyone has some idea, link or advice to everything that would be needed to do this I would greatly appreciate it.:SNSign:

you NEED the engine, tranny (or just a clutch kit, flywheel, and pilot bearing) engine harness, and the eec, along with some modifying of the fuel pump wiring.
I would suggest along with others, getting a wrecked donor 5.0 would be alot better, because buying all the 5.0 parts such as suspension, brakes, rear, and so on can get quit expensive

Yeah I did one in an 87 too. I bought a wrecked 88 GT that still drove just rt front framerail was bent. I used everything that was V8 related:
-Rear axle
-rear brake lines
-Fuel injector harness
-computer
-ordered new poly motor and trans mounts
plus some other stuff I'm probably forgetting...

Yeah. All I did was the swap the injector harness and computer. Everything else as far as the wiring should be the same. I also did the headlight harness because the battery exploded in the 4 cyl notch I bought.
I also forgot to mention to replace the fuel pump too.

Wow, I didn't know that! So all the plugs are right... Thanks for the info! I just may have to get a 4cyl car myself to swap and then sell again
