what all is needed when lowering the car?

I put my steeda springs in with out anything else at all.

Seems fine to me after more than 8 months.

I installed my Pro Kit alone in about 2 hrs in my garage. All I had was some jacks and jack stands a tire iron, and the 4 springs. Lowered it exactly 1 1/2 all the way around. Pics in sig.

My 2 cents, would be (first at least 1.5" drop eliminates the steeda springs) I would go with the H&R Supersports. I have the pro-kit, and i do like it. It is a decent drop looks alot better than stock, but if I had to do it over again I would go with the H&R's. Steeda also sells the 4 bolt CC's. But my humble recommendation would be to get the ones from Maximum Motorsports. They have the springs your looking for Eibach and H&R's (unless you decide on Steedas), the 4-bolt CC's and they sell Bilsteins and the Tokiko Illuminas.

I called them the other day, to ask about going coil over etc, and the dude was real cool, i talked to him about suspension for like 20 minutes. IMHO they are the way to go BTW-they throw in the pair of spring isolators when you purchase springs. <--damn..re-reading this before I submit, i look like a MM salesman, I just think they are good stuff

I have H&R Supersports, lowered to about 2" all around. Don't have caster/camber plates and have never got an alignment. No tire wear at all in 10k miles.

I'd get the bump steer kit just to be safe.

Since you're stiffening your springs, getting some Subframe connectors would be a good idea. Otherwise alot of the load will just be transferred from the suspension to the chassis (weak unibody). Are you doing this for looks or performance? If it's for performance, shocks and struts would be best, although not 100% required. I'd look into some of the packages that are offered like the MM starter box (as a minimum) or the Steeda g-trac pack.

The CC plates are what will allow you to ensure you get a proper alignment after changing the stock suspension geometry or, custom tune the front suspension to your liking for track purposes. Many people who never get them don't have any problems but in the long run, they're probably your safest bet if you're concerned about alignment.
