I have to replace the fan that is on my dads car and it has a 91 3.0L Taurus fan on it right now that is dead. I'm either going to get a Newer Taurus 3.8L Fan or an SN 95 Fan. Which one pull the most CFM out of these two Fans. I know on the 3.8L Taurus Fan the dimensions are 20.50 wide and 15.50 tall. I don't know what the dimension on the SN 95 fan.

The local auto parts has both of them in stock. So tomorrow I will just go there and measure both of them just so I know but I know the Taurus fan will fit. This is for a drag car and the radiator isn't that big.

So The 3.8L fan pulls about 33 amps at 14.4V. What about SN95. Which pulls less amps?

They all use similar motors, so draw should be about the same. Difference maker would be fan blade pitch as to change the load on the motor.

Really, when choosing between any of the Ford OEM fans you are really just splitting hairs. They are all sufficient enough to cool a typical 5.0 engine and all draw approx the same.

Mark 8 fan is still the king, but i've no cooling issues with my SN95 fan and even have a 3.8L Taurus fan in reserve

I run a Mark 8 fan on my Mustang but it's an 18" fan and wont fit on my dads car. This is going in a Racecar. Right now it has the older 3.0 Taurus fan and the motor is dying. The blades barely move. I could just buy a new one just like it but it doesn't pull the air like the newer ones do. With just him driving the car the fan does just fine. But since my Falcon motor is blown up we both have been racing it. I also don't want something that will drain the battery. It does have a small alternator on it and if we have time between round we put the charge on the car. I'm most likely going to get the Taurus 3.8 fan because I know the Shroud will fit the radiator no problem.

Thanks man but you don't have to. The auto parts store I deal with will have both of them tomorrow at there store. I'm just going to go measure them there and buy the one I want. Thanks again.
