What Black Stripes on Legend Lime?

I've read several stripe threads, but what I really want to know is where are you getting your stripes and who put them on.

I was at the Ford dealer today and they had a GT with what appears to be the Ford accessory stripes, just the hood, top and trunk. They had added $499 to the price of the car for the stripes.

I think they probably cost about $100 and the rest is labor and profit.

So, where do I get my black stripes for my Lime?

I'd have them painted by a professional.

the ford stripe kit is about $250-300, and they are a pita to get right unless you deal with vinyl all the time... definatly go with painted stripes.

I have seen the LLG w/white stripes that look great. Painted on. Try this link for a way to try different colors on your car's color.

A good decal shop, and most cities of any size, can handle the job for much less. Personally, I wouldn't put a stripe on it. But to each his or her own. Vinyl stripes can also be removed if you later decide you don't want them. Much harder to remove paint.
