what cam to chose??

84 gt non roller block,,plan to get a parker funnel web intake,hei dizzy,long tub headers with X-pipe and flowmaster cat back.the motor is stock and right now i have a carter comp 750.I plan to do the intake and roller cam swap now to the motor,,the headers and exhaust will come later.
i have true duals from mani's back no cats,no hpipe and no xpipe with thrush mufflers and tails.no sure what cam to get,was thinking about the x303 or tfs stage 2 or 3.I want to beable to power brake it no problem but also have good top end power.and i have a t5 tranny.what cam should i go with?

First if you have a non roller block you need a flat tappet style cam to make it easy, the cams you list are all ROLLER cams, and they are way to large for the flat piston you have in the motor. You can go roller but you'll need to run link bar style lifters which are in the $400+ range. There are plenty of flat tappet cams out to make great power.

Do you still have stock cylinder heads? The Parker Funnel Web is a serious intake not made for "stock" style motors. The 750cfm carb is also way to large...

I go with a nice dual plane intake, suitable cam and a 650cfm carb...it will make great tq down low and increase the hp over where you currently are.
