I have an 01 cobra with the following mods.

magnaflow x w/ cats
magnaflow cat back
drop in K&N

*I also have a full wms high velocity system with a 87mm pro M*
I installed it and removed it twice now, i get about 2 days out of it before the ses light comes on. whats my problem? I feel alot of top end power from it but dont want to break anything.

I am planning on buying some drag radials before our track meet.
going with 275/40/17's on the stock 01 cobra rims
BFG's or Nitto 555

any how i have a stock geared rear. I also have the stock shifter, i hated the feel of my pro 5.0 and have grown to like the stock piece. I was thinking of buying steeda to see if it was any different. I consider myself a pretty good driver, havent missed third in a while and can really nail the 1-2 shift. I was hoping for a 13.6 or better. Should I run the WMS only for track duty? or stick with the stock piece? The track session is on the 29th at california drag way in fontana CA (20 minutes from my house).

Justin

I just did about the same mods as you. I put a CAI, upr o/r x, and borla xr1 catback on my 01. I am going to the track tonight to see what she'll do. It sure feels alot stronger mid thru top of the rpm band.

I never had the check engine light come on from those mods.

What was you best stock time?

I heard that an aftermarket air mass meter will make you check engin light come on. I think thats what that is. As for a shifter the steeda tri-ax is the bomb. good luck @ the track!!

I have xr-1 catback, upr o/r x, and k&n fipk
I ran my car stock and it ran a 13.2 at 104. I am going friday to run it with the new mods. I will let you know what it runs.

Might have to get a Dart block but don't want to and if I do, then 363 instead of 331. Thoughts on what I've already bought so far.......
