what degree of timing?

ok with the mods I have in my signature what timing do you think I should run? and what timing should I run later on when i put my 24 lb. injectors and maf sensor and a 75 shot of nitrous?

You can run the timing to the point it wants to ping then back it off, or if you see your ET fall off. I'd say you'll end up at 14-16 degrees, every car is different.

For the 75 shot, I would start at 10 degrees and add it in in small amounts, but I would not think you'll end up over 12 degrees intial. There are way to many factors to guess at this, humitity, temp and other issues really are important. Start at 10 degrees, I'd gap the plug a little narrower as well, stock heat range should be fine for a 75. Read the plugs right after spraying, only ture way to know what is going on.

I agree with RICK about the timing and plugs and gapping then. My friend has the similar set-up as you. He has a 75 shot also. He runs 11* timing. But every car is different. He uses the MOTORCRAFT 42c plugs. Not sure of the exact # but the heat range of the plug is STOCK.
