What do you guys think?

My 98's paid off now, and its just sitting around waiting for me to either nut up and sell it, or keep it and slowly finish moding it as I have the money, but my chevelle is also sitting there waiting to be finished, and to add to this, I've had a really bad craving for a foxbody coupe for a very long time now... should I keep the 98 and continue modifying it while putting the chevelle on the back burner... Sell the 98 and finish the chevelle,
or sell both, buy a coupe and build the street/strip car that I've been craving?
 
Sell them both and get one of these

boy thats a tough one....wish there was an easy answer. I don't know too many people that can mod/restore more than one car at a time $$. I think you have to decide one one thing, and go at it.
If you decide to sell the 66 drop me a line, I love 66-67 chevelles.

Thats just it though, I'm attached to the 66... lots of good memories, its the first car and major purchase I made, and the car that really introduced me to the hobby and I know that if I sell it, I'll never stop regretting it, yet I just dont have the time/money to complete the frame off that I started (at least not the way I want to complete it). Same with the 98... I've done everything on it myself sans having the subframes welded on. It just doesnt satisfy the speed demon in me.

I do hate to sell the 98 because I've put a ton of work into it also, so it is also has sentimental value to me lol... I need to stop modifying cars... I get to damn attached to em :nonono:

She'll have different wheels, black interior, the cauge will be hidden better and the paint will be darker, should look like its black untill its in direct sunlight. :drool:
 
Good question but I agree with both Duner/AD and the Factor. Sell the GT, restore the Chevelle, and put some money down on a coupe. Then you'd have all your toyz:D

Maybe have some port work done on the 450 as well. Maybe a + 6 swing arm from Podos racing:nice:

I am getting bored with my coupe so it might be availible down the road

oh the 450's gonna get some more goodies this winder :D I'm tired of running around with my buds that have basicly the exact same setup as me... so some work will be in order. no swingarm though... I love the way it jumps and handles... dont wanna mess with that. Any pics of your coupe? :D
 
I personally would buy a semi-built foxbody so you have something that's fast and reliable and keeps you having fun and then put the rest of the money into the Chevelle.

At least that is what I have done as the wife and I just drove to eastern WA and picked up a 1969 Firebird that we are going to turn into a Pro-Street car and I don't mind driving something a bit older that's still a hell of a lot of fun while we put the money into something that will turn out bad ass and not something you see every day.

Just my two cent$.
 
I totaly agree with what's been said by people above me in that a Chevelle is a totaly sick car and something that you don't see very often. It's so much fun to be able to mod your car when you have a nice amount of cash keeping you from reaching dead ends due to no money.

I have a notch for sale that I think that you might be a bit interested in and live in the Couve. ;)

Thats what I'd love to have... a nice clean notch, turn it into my weekend racer... the chevelle is gonna be fast, but its gonna be more of a fun cruise/show car. and now that I read your for sale add... and noticed your looking for a 98gt... you've got me thinking hehe
