I might have a chance to get the engine and transmission from an 03 mustang GT (about 30,000 miles on them) for $1000. I was planning on just rebuilding the motor that's already in my 98 GT but it's already got 100k on it. Besides the PI manifold and heads is this engine really any better? Also the tranny is a 5 speed so since it's an 03 is it the 3650? Right now I have the T45 so what all would I need to drop the new engine/tranny in? The guy is also giving me all electrical components if I want them....computer etc.
