I have a heavily ported stock lower intake that I've been thinking about putting on. Since the ports looked a little bigger than my heads, I decided to just put on the Cartech 5.0 upper. Do you think I should go ahead and put the lower on since it is the "bottleneck" of my engine? Would it make much of a difference even if the ports are a little bigger than my head's ports?

You'd lose alot of your low end

It'd hurt the low end a little but wouldn't it gain some power at the top?

Do u have a cam that would " gain some power at the top"?

Still have a stock cam at the moment. The car does run pretty good since I believe I could run in the 13.3-4 range on motor. So do you think I should get a cam before I put the lower intake on?

Im having a hard time figuring out why. Port it man! Port it to match everything else. If it was me I'd feel like I was cutting corners. not doing it right. Great times BTW
