The other night I was walking with my friend and theres this Ford Explorer at the stop light and im like WTF is that noise?, sounds like hes got a blower under the hood or something...Then my friend said its the Iac motor making the noise, on its way out. I've never heard an IAC make noise and especially since it was like 30 feet away and it was LOUD. My car sometimes tries to stall when I push in the clutch. Starting yesterday when its been pretty cold out Ive heard a similiar type noise under my hood(but not nearly as loud) but only lasted for a few minutes till the motor warmed up in the morning
. Actually sounds just like my friends V-1 T-Trim blower or a funny sounding vacuum leak. Im thinking my IAC might be on its way out, But anybody ever hear of one making a noise before at idle? :SNSign:
