Hello,

I am very curious how fast is the stock 99+ GT 5spd mustang in the 1/4 mile.

Thank you.

p.s if you can post your 60" as well it would be nice.

ye I know all about it..... but most of the info is garbage and hard to tell between modded and stock I want people to come in here and post their stock #'s Because if this thing runs 13's stock I will focus more on the looks then go.

Thank you.

A ****ty driver could run a 15-16... Most of the numbers you hear about are "Perfectly Driven" numbers. They have been as low as 13.60 and as bad as 16.xx.

It depends on conditions and the driver.

Im a good driver. What do good drivers run stock.

I got a 2.1 60" on a supercharged FWD car on all season tires.

An average stock for a 5 speed is a 14.1 or so.

Autos will get 14.3

These are average numbers, so don't start posting better times everyone to show me up

Your first run will probably yield a low 14

Yeah, that's about right. Some "good" drivers run high 13's. Don't leave it stock though, a couple mods like some 4.10's and exhaust will make it sound good and always have instant acceleration. Stock feels kinda doggy sometimes. Oh and a tri-ax would do good too.

So 4.10 gears are good for everyday driving with a 5spd? And I dont need anything else with them?
Im going to search this but need to know if that is the right info I should be looking for.

Thank you all.

I ran 13.9 bone stock. Exhaust mods put me at 13.6 and t/a, pulleys, and 4.10's put me at 13.4.

4.10s are great gears which will help you accel at a much better rate

3.73s if you plan on a supercharger or other form of forced induction

yep you're looking at an average of 14.2 - 14.4 in decent weather with decent track prep.

get in some cold weather, great traction, you're high 13s. for me it just took some good weather, good track prep (1.9x 60' on street tires) and a set of magnaflows for 13.6 and 13.7. doesn't take much.
