What gears you runnin with Kenne Bell

As soon as i save up enough for it I hope to be getting the 9psi Intercooled kit.

So i was wondering so i can plan ahead what gears everyone is running. I will base my decion on comments about how well you hook up, considering your gears and suspension setup, be it stock or modded

Seems like most people agree on running 3.73's with the 9psi kit.

KB's research found that the 373's run the best in the 1/4 mile

hey 03redfire, you know what kind of #'s you put down? with the mods in your sig is sounds like your car should be pretty healthy, i.e. blower, blower cams, block, 3.73's, long tubes....

I have 4.10s. Ridiculously fun on the streets, and NASTY going from 1st to 2nd gear. I do think it hurts the 1/4 mile performance, though. Planning to eventually switch to 3.73s.

It's 3.73's for me, I don't have a Kenne Bell, but I've got a positive displacement blower just the same. You could probably get away with lesser gear in a Mustang, but I went with the steeper gears because my car weighs nearly 4,000lbs.

I do agree that it's probably more forgiving on an auto.

But running out of gear in the 1/4 could be an issue for me..

I changed rear end gears 3 times. I'm setteled with the 3.55 now and the 6-speed.

3:55's now, but am debating on going to 3:73

well i have 3.73 gears on because i want to go with KB and i've had people tell me that those are good all around gears
