What grill emblem Did 94-95 Cobra's have

The Horse is the correct grill emblem for all cobra's up to 98, I think on the 99 ups they started putting a cobr ain the grill. Not 100% sure about that part, but definately 94-95's have "runing pony" grill.

All mustangs come stock with the pony. Any time you see a cobra emblem in there, its aftermarket.

:Word: The last time a grill mounted Cobra came on a cobra was the 1970 Shelby Cobra (I don't know about the Mustang IIs that they tried to call cobras, but they really don't count! :D ). As you stated all latemodel cobras have the running horse.

Are you serious? I have never seen a late model Cobra with a horse on it, only the snake. I could have sworn that they switched to the snake sometime in the mid 90's. Huh............

*walks away thoroughly confused*

ok wow after some crazy answers the 1998 Cobra came with the snake in the grill. All the 94-97's came with the running pony as did the 93, 93R, and 95R (with the 93 and 93R having a fiberglass insert with the pony on it). I still have my origional pony somewhere cause I now have the 98 snake in my grill. The newer ones 99-up did come with a snake in the grill.

Come on people. The Mustang Cobra never, ever came with a snake in the grille. They were only on the fenders. The grille emblem is simply a fender emblem fitted to a grille mounting bracket. All Mustang Cobras had the galloping pony in the grille.

Sorry, I've got to disagree with you on this. My brother's 99 cobra, the 99,01-04 cobras in my car club, and all of the '99, '01-'04 cobras that I've seen at the various dealerships (and the 2000 Cobra Rs) all have the running horse from the factory. I also seriously doubt that '98 cobras were the only year that came with cobras on the grill. Either the dealership did this, or you bought it used from the dealership and the previous owner put it on.

Sometimes i think people just read the first couple posts, see something they want to reply to, and go reply without reading the rest of the thread.

EDIT: Ahhhh, you werent quick enough with the edit button!:SNSign:

So if what u say is right, i guess the guy above either say fake cobras or people "down graded" from the cobra to pony? Hmmmmmm....... It makes sense to upgrade, whether its the dealer or owner on a used car, but it doesnt make any sense for ANYONE to downgrade from a cobra to a pony...especially if they rolled out the factory with cobras like you say.

Go to Stangnet's wallpaper page and you will see that all Cobra's come with running ponies in the front grills, Cobra emblems on the side panels only for the 94-95, 99, 00(R), 01, 03-04 Cobras. I am not sure about the 96-98 Cobras and don't want to post something I am not for sure about.
