What have you guys done tip wise for your(65-66) GT rear valance?

Wondering if you have pics or can tell what you used for tips. On mine I'm not wanting the stock trumpets...Seems to me though I can run a 3" tip...problem is though it *looked* last time I was under the car that it would be abit too close to the gas tank and might have issues. Would there be any concern with that or should it work fine b/c I wanna run 2.5" pipe.

2.5 inch pipes with a 2.5 inner diameter chrome tip welded on.

2.5" pipes with 2.5" slashed chrome tip. I've seen a large trumpet used, too, that didn't look bad, but I like a slashed tip that mirrors the contour of the rear valence.
Your muffler shop will have to be careful routing the 2.5" pipe by the gas tank, but it's okay. If you've got the ponies to back it up, a 3" slashed tip would prolly be awesome.

Another chiming in with 2.5 slash cuts. They aren't installed yet, but soon. Very soon.
