What HP?

I'm trying to decide how bad I need a dyno tune, the closest tune is 2 1/2 hours away. With the mods below and about 5-6 # of boost, what HP should I be seeing at the rear wheels. Doesn't seem as fast as I had thought it would be after the SC install. Also any tips on tuning before the dyno and without a broadband would be much appreciated. FYI the exhaust is stock between the headers and the Magnaflows, Ford claims 340 hp from the crate engine.

with all the money needed to buy and install a sc, you'de be acting foolish not to take the time and money to have it tuned, even with 5-6 lbs. You'll better results and peace of mind knowing it would detonate on ya! good luck!

I'm with rbonella, it's pretty much a hand in hand deal when doing a s/c a tune is a must after. you are not getting everything you could out if it, do yourself the favor.

I saw a 30 hp swing with playing around with the WOT timing. They can get your air/fuel ratio tuned.

you should be excited. It will run much better. My friend and I installed an s-trim on his bone stock 91 and it ran like crap until he ironed all the bugs out.

Yeah, a tune could give you as much as 40 more horses if you are running the stock tune on that car. Where do you live in Texas? I am far like hell fromthe closest good shop and thats still onlyan hour away.

I live in Corpus Christi, from the info I get the nearest good dyno tune is in San Antonio.
