What ignition upgrade to get?

I was thinking of getting a package from Performance Distributors with the dyna module, cap, rotor, Screamin' Demon coil and Livewires. Are there any pros and cons to this setup? What other setups are good or better? Thanks.

I installed the PD igntion system last year...It works, plain and simple, looks great, and I have no complaints nor have i heard of any...Not alot of people run this set-up..so you prolly wont find alot of feedback...most go MSD...I wanted to finish it off with their dizzy, I opted for a MSD pro billet instead...

Hey RIO, did you notice any HP gains after installing that setup from performance distributors? In there ad they claim a few HP gain, so I was curious.

I also have the PD package. I didn't notice any gains but it works like it should. The wires do look great though. It is a little pricey so you might be better off putting together your own kit.

The stock ignition is more than adequate for a naturally aspirated motors. If you upgrade the ignition, don't do it with the expectation of getting any more horsepower.

Andy do you remember the part number for your MSD Pro Billet? Would I need an MSD ignition box or does the dyno module do what the ignition box does? Sorry for all the questions, I'm learning as I go.

Law...I added it when i did H/C/I, so really cant say...I always like it and wanted it. I wanted to replace the ignition anyway, so I choose this over a Jacobs set-up...

Dave....MSD 8455....This is 94/95 specific as you have the TFI on the fenderwell....The 93 down model had the TFI module on the side of the dizzy...the 8455 is a direct swap...nothing else needed...
