ive got a 393 stroker, f cam, windsor jr world products heads, edelbrock performer intake, and everyone told me i needed 42's so i went 42's. i cant get it to idle worth a crap, cant get it to not stumble throughout the rpm range, i lowered my fuel pressure to 37psi, have checked everything atleast 3 times and im still getting way to much fuel! unless you are going to have it tuned to have the injector cycles lowered id go 30's if i were you. bigger isnt always better.

check your timing if your headers are glowing, if you timing reads right and the headers are still glowing then maybe you should check your balancer to see if maybe the elastomeric material is bad and the balancer isnt reading right.

did you put the motor together? maybe it has an aftermarket timing set and whoever installed it retarded it??

No offense, but you have something wrong with your tune brother. You can't just swap injectors without retuning and/or getting the MAF recalibrated.

please elaboriate im all ears to any suggestions... went and talked with gary brandt who is a local racer in my area and he gave me 3 suggestions after listening to my car run. first being that because i lowered my fuel pressure and it ran better would mean i have too much injector (not just idle but throughout the entire rpm range was improved), second was to step up to a 75mm throttle body and third was to keep my current intake but port it out some.

i have a stock a9l computer, 76mm c&l with correct sampling tube, 70mm throttle body, egr spacer, and intake. base idle has been set, tps voltage is .98, timing 14 degrees

i understand that to maximize horsepower get a tune or if you want to get a mixture that isnt running right get a tune but with matched stuff it should run right and there are many cars out there with stock tunes that dont have any issues.

please pm me if you have any suggestions, dont really wanna sidetrack this guys thread but ANYONE with suggestions please throw them at me.
