When you read these articals in magazines, you have to see what they are testing it on. What works best for a blown stroker might not work so well for a stock engine, or vise versa.
You have an intake that is set up for a 1500-6500rpm, a cam set up for 2500-7000rpm, and heads that are set up for idle-4500rpm. What do you get: A motor that dosn't run worth crap and makes no real power.
