What is the 05 SHAKER upgrade??

I am ordering a new 05 GT, well I have it ordered already but its not built yet so I can change my mine on options. What is the upgrade, does it ADD speakers or just upgrade the one it already has. If its just upgrading then I can do that myself and save the problems I have been hearing about. Does the factory CD player have the same issues as the 6disk??

the shaker 1000 is the upgrade

it adds 500 more watts of power and 3 extra speakers. thats 2 subs in the trunk and one in the passanger door for a total of nine speakers. I have it & think is worth it if you don't want extra work of building one your own. It could use more treble though.

So the Shaker 1000 is worth it, but what about the shaker 500?? The Shaker 1000 would have to blow out my windows for it to be work $1700!! What about the Shaker 500, does this come with subs and the extra speaker? The 500 says 8 speakers and the 1000 is 10. Is the difference the subs??

If you would like a little more bass without losing the stock look...go for the 1000. I wish I did in my 03!
