What is the average age on stangnet 5.0 talk?

im 23 and have owned 3 within the past 3 years. the first one was a 85gt, sold it cause somebody made a decent offer on it. i also had a 92coupe with no motor and tranny, sold it cause i was in desperate need of money. and no i have my 90gt and this one isnt gonna go anywhere

I just turned 38... sifting thru everyones posts I didn't realize how young the crowd was!! :)

I'm friggin old!!!

I got my 87 notch when I was 21. I put it thru a few phases... first as a drag car, later got into autocrossing. I also found a steal of a deal on an 86' GT with t-tops that I had to have a few years later. I kept it a year and made good money that I just put back into the notch.

Then I found my true love about ten years ago.... my 67' Fastback. It was plain and lime green... but I saw potential. The sad part was the only way I could build on that potential was to sell the notch... so I did.

The 67' is still in progress... but I've autocrossed it and it's a blast.

Then this past fall I stumble upon the 92' hatchback with only 35k on it.

I may be old... but these cars make me feel young!!

I am 29 and loved the Fox Body since since I was about 14 - friend had a 93 GT Convertible. Bought my 1st 92 GT this past August and just getting into the planning of how to set it up. Friend I bought it from had redone the rearend, clutch, flywheel, lower control arms, stabilizers, etc. but thats where he stopped. Engine is completely stock.

Any one with ideas for a newbie they are welcome.

I am 25 years old. My dad bought a 95 GT in early 96. This got me hooked. I have had 10 Mustangs my self. His 95 GT was sold in 2002, and in May 2007, my Dad bought a 2007 Shelbt GT500. That is my next goal.

33 years old, and have own my 90 since 1993.

Have been a mustang fan since I was 14 when we got the 67 fastback and restored it with my uncle over the next few years. Got into mini-trucks for awhile, owned a 400 small block S-10, but always wanted to go back to a mustang. So when I had the opportunity to buy one in 1993 I took it and will probably never part with it.

-I'm 16

-Been into Mustangs since i was born(my dad took me home from the hospital when i was born in his '86 GT:nice: )

- I've had my fox for a year now and it came a long way since i got it.

nice i was brought home from the hospital in a blue 76 cobra in fact my dad still has it....its mine when i turn 18 (WOT)....i still remember it like yesterday

I am 33 and on Mustang #7.

I started getting into Mustangs when I was around 13 and got my first one when I was 15, 1965 convertible, since then I have had a 65 fastback, 66 coupe, 91 5.0 hatch, 03 Mach 1, 93 GT convertible and my 88 SSP. The only ones that I don't still have are the 66 and the 91.

When I was in high school, 88-92, 5.0s were everywhere and I couldn't stand them. I was into classic Mustangs. I got my first fox in 1996 and have been pretty much hooked since then. I sold my 91 to buy the Mach 1 and ended up getting the 93 cause I missed being in a fox.

From this point on I plan on always having at least 1 fox body in the garage.

I am 26 and I have been in mustangs since I was born. Our family cars were always mustangs and trucks. My first car was a 86mustang v6 had it for a year, then got a 84 ram50, then a F150 4x4, then a honda civic(sorry pos and I bought it new left me stranded with only 3000miles on it) then a svt focus, then my current 91 mustang V-8. I have had it I think around a year now, my dad bought it with about 30000miles on it, I bought it from him with 78000 and it now has 93000. I would'nt trade it for the world unless you offered me a 93 cobra, or about 10000dollors.:)

I am 20. First one was a 86 3.8 that liked to do the one wheel peel, that was when I was 14 I believe. Sold that to a kid who managed to flip it, he is fine. Second was the 89 in my sig, bought that when I was 17 and put a decent amount of work into it. Last one is the car that will never be done, '69 mach 1. Maybe in 5 years or something I will be able to get serious about doing something to it, so expensive...

I'm 24. I've owned a small block ford since I was 16 (my '65 Fairlane/289), which I still have, and have owned my 5.0 mustang since 2005.

I'm just interested in small block ford's in general. Carbed and injected, I wrench on them both.

Ill be 33 in Jan. My first stang was an 88gt that I got in 97. Bought my 94 in 99 that I still have and I bought an 87 LX in June of 06. Fisrt time I rode in a 5.0 I was 13. An 84 GT that a friend had. I was HOOKED! I remember him leaving the apt complex and barking 3rd everytime. No one else could do that back then!

I'm 47. I got my 1st mustang a 68 vert when I was 12. (1972) I had a 01 that I gave to my son. (He wrecked it 6 months later) Currently the 79 has been my wifes since 04/79. It started life as a v6 but now has a 50 EFI and running gear from a since deceased 90 vert.
