Sup HISSIN,

Glad to be back around. I've been kind of poking around the forums for months, but I havent had anything useful to post, lol. Been haunting the SHO forums recently though.. Got a 93 now and Ive been trying to work the kinks out.

Mustang is wrapped up and completed and for sale! Awww yeah.

We have to buy a lock for the hatch and the rear window trim but the car is totally done, buffed, shiny and purty secksy.

I'm happy with it, though theres several things I intend to do different next time around. All in all, for my second start-to-finish redo it turned out pretty good. Bryan did a great job on the fenders and Donnie kicked ass all around.

how come you sprayed the stripes first then the base? when we did my GT we painted the base, then layed out the stripes, then cleared. seems like the way you did yours would lead to the tape lines not being so clean.. Im learning the trade as well but more by watching others and then experimenting.

We sprayed the stripes first cause I was outvoted, heh.

I wanted to mask the stripes then spray the color, then mask the color and spray the stripes, we could have "filled" the valley created with the silver paint and it would have resulted in a cleaner transition.

Bryan thinks we can get 4000$ out of it. That of course is once the transmission is rebuilt (has a grind when shifting hard in to second) and we get a proper set of tires on it. The ones its running now are just to get back and forth with. We put a crate 302 in it out of his '67 that had less than 30k miles on it as well.

well like john said im hoping to get around 4k for it after the trany is taken care of or 3700 for it with the trany the way it is. and as far as the stripes why we painted them first well, our instructer wanted to show us one way now and then another way later. so he picked this way first and well when your instructer wants to show you something you pretty much out voted to start with.

and also if any one has a t-5 for the v8 let me know. if they want to get rid of it.
