The reason I ask is because this is the first time I ever had a GT up on the dyno. It's always been my Cobras previously. I kinda didnt know what to expect. As far as performance mods go for power...I really only have a JLT CAI, BBK 70mm, Trickflow plenum, O/R X pipe and Borla Stingers.

The shop installed 4.10s yesterday and chip&tune. It feels so much better to be in a car with gears. My old 97 had 4.56s and I loved banging through those gears. 4.10s seem alright for the GTs. I guess I just need some more power.

Before I reveal my numbers...just kinda testing the waters to see what you guys opinions are.

You get it on the dyno in Houston? What kind of dyno was it?

I figure you are putting down 245-250

I'd say 250 at most on a dynojet with a 5 speed. You'll be 5RWHP lower with your 4.10's, so whatever number you got just add that to it for what you'd have with stock gears.

I dynoed 245 RWHP and he wasn't able to get TQ figures cause it was messed up. My guess would be around 280 RWTQ. So I should add 5 RWHP for the gears? I always knew gears played with the dyno #s.

That is interesting, since all the dynos that I know of measure torque and RPM and calculate HP. If you have a HP plot ver RPM the torque can be calculated.

I thought it was strange that he said that too. Oh well, might not have wanted to pull the figures up. This seriously was a waste of his time to tune my GT with all those crazy 4Vs that go through there making crazy #s!

Ya at Strictly. Richard is a very good guy and I trust him 100% after he went in and fixed all of Mike Murillo's nightmares on my old 4V.

Longtubes, Heads and cams are next round of mods. Along with Pullies. I just got this thing about 5 months ago 100% bone stock. It's gonna take a while.
