What kind of power should I be getting with my mods?

The engine has 116,000 miles with the following mods.
C&L 76MM meter
65mm Ford Motorsports throttle body
Edelbrock Performer 5.0 Manifold
MAC pulleys, shortie headers, ProChamber & Catback exhaust
Art Carr AODE tranny with 3,200 stall
3.73 gears

220-250rwhp ? remember with your aod you loose more to the wheels...and stock power might be 180-200rwhp. I never had my stangs dyno'd, but I had a G-tech in my 89 5.0 aod w/ just full exhaust, k&n, and 4.10s...it said I put down 217hp to the wheels. The gtechs aren't too accuate on hp though. So, I'd guess 190hp is what I was putting to the wheels. I'm trying to get 300rwhp in my 88 with some heads and cam in my sig my friend had for real cheap...good luck.

I'm going to say about 215-220rwhp...maybe a tad more...

Well this isn't my original motor. Blew the old one last year with 100k and got a used motor put in because I was going to sell it but had a change of heart. I only dynoed 202.8 hp and 253.4 torque which is why I am disappointed. The shop said the C&L meter, TB and Edelbrock intake really leaned out my car. So after some tuning those were the result.

On my original motor when it had 75k it dynoed 226.8 hp and 297.3 torque. The mods on that motor then was a MAC cold air intake, MAC shortie headers, MAC ProChamber, 2 chamber Flowmasters and 3.73 gears. Some people here said there was no way I could make that kind of power with the mods I had. So I don't know what the heck is going on. Any ideas on what I can do to get the hp numbers up or is the motor that weak?

Heads/Cam/Dyno Tune w/chip. I have a C&L meter, and it sucks. Going for the Pro-M

Try a "complete tuneup"...plugs, wires, fuel filter, etc...maybe that will clean it up...its fairly cheap to do... :nice:

Were the tests done on the same dyno? This could account for some difference if it wasn't. BTW, those numbers look WAY high on the stock long block with exhaust.

Both tuning sessions were done by the same person on the same dyno. I know those numbers look too high, that's what some others told me as well when I posted those numbers. This is why I was both confused and dissappointed when I got these results.
