I haven't had one for [years]. Fiberglass hood

Took mine off after a coolant leak soaked it about 20,000 miles ago. I daily my fox and absolutely no difference between hood insulation on or off,he'll I don't ever hear any louder engine noise . oh she just turned 316,000 miles.

If you choose to remove the insulation wear a face mask, the dust and debris you stir up will kill ya, worse that get'n hit by a bus.

Couple hundred bucks, if that. Used isn't going to command what NOS pricing will bring. When those were in production, they were only $150ish. So really the value is in how much does the person want it.

you think a couple hundred for the hood with insulation? the insulation is a little frayed and tarnished - the black outer coating is coming off in a few areas... a few mouse bites-but its all there...

just trying to get a fair price...i think the guy who made the offer was going to re-sell it

I don’t really know. Depends on what sort of shape it’s in. Based on your description, not even sure I’d pay $200 for that.

I tried searching for others for sale but didn’t find any.
