I've got a 95 GT and have slowly been modifying things... my question is what should I go for next? So far I have an F303 Cam, Ross Racing Pistons, ADS Superchip, Long Tube Headers, 180* Thermostat, Ford Racing Spark Plug Wires, BBK Underdrive Pulleys, BOMZ Cold Air Kit, Motorvation Throttle Body Spacer, and Custom Dual Side Exhaust (no mufflers). I have limited funds so I was thinking new mass air flow sensor or throttle body. I'd appreciate any advice, thanks.

yea gears is where you need to be along with some nittos if you dont have them.. HEY hes the first january 06 guy i think!

EDIT: if your going with a tb or MAF.. you need to start out with a good MAF sensor then graduate to the egr and tb.. also wait until you get the whole setup till you put it on..

Yeah I thought about gears. I have 3.08s and I want to go up to 3.73s, but I don't have positrack either of course... wouldn't it make sense to wait and change the gears and add posi at the same time? And that is going to get expensive... As for the tb - maf thing, why wait and put them all on at the same time?

All V8 Mustangs (from the facotry V8) came with the Traction-lock rear end. A rebuild while doing the gear swap is the way to go about getting it fixed.

Power to both rear wheels is much more entertaining than power to only one wheel.

Maybe I do, but not that I am aware of. My right rear tire was constantly spinning like none other, so a friend and I swapped the rear tires. The only thing that changed was the left rear tire started doing the same thing... I got new tires all around (225/60 16s) and the same thing is still happening... so I don't know. I can't find any info about what they came with stock.. is it trac loc?

So mine is just needing fixed?

The easiest way to tell is to do a nice smokey burn out in a parking lot.

If you see 1 tire track - you have 1 wheel peel and need your rearend rebuilt

If you see 2 tire tracks - your trac-loc is working properly.

Edit: Welcome to :SNSign:

Why wait to put it all on together?

Also, would this mess with the effectiveness of my chip? That is what I have been told... but i know very little about chips. someone told me it reads off of the tb and maf so i would have to get a new one if i upgraded?

AND - When I do a burnout one tire spins first then the other one starts to spin after a few seconds...

The guy that owned my car before me had the motor completely rebuilt and did all the major stuff i have (cam, pistons, chip) before i got the car. I did all the rest and now I am working my way up to the big stuff... I guess you could call that the reason. lol it's just the way it's working out.
