What rear end do I have in my 79 CP?

I want to add limited slip and lower gears but I'm having trouble with ID..
Tag on diff. reads as follows..... Top Row WGX CX 8JC
Bottom Row 2 47 7 5 272A
Any help would be greatly appreciated

P.S. it's a 5.0
The rear end dosen't look like any I'm seeing in my search's, but I think it's a
7.5" The bolt pattern is not the standard one I'm seeing in all my mag's or
my recognition guide.... Thanks

7.5" rear end with 2.47 gears.

Do you know how many diffrent bolt patterns ther are for the 7.5? Mine looks like a dana 25 27 30 is this unusual? all the one's I see in catalogs look like the gasket is diffrent.

All 7.5s have the same bolt pattern, so the 7.5 gaskets you see in catalogs will work for all 7.5s in fords from 79+.

I'm probibly over thinking this, I just don't want recieve a pile of parts that wont fit. Thanks for your input it's much appreciated.

I've never used the gaskets before. I just use silicone or black RTV to seal them up. From what I've seen, gaskets seem to be a little more susceptible to leaking.

If your planning on putting gears in it you might as well save yourself some money in the long run and go ahead and swap in an 8.8 rear end.
