I'm planning on going with a KB 1500 in a couple months and I need to have my rear rebuilt, so I'm not sure if it's better to swap the gears out now or wait till I get the supercharger. Everyone tells me that 4.10s are too steep for a boosted setup. I love the way the car snaps your head back now though, even though it's pretty stock. Will I lose that effect with 3.55s and a KB?

Iam not an expert by any means, but from what I've read and heard the KB units are torque monters and if you are planning on hooking up the tires or having some streetablilty I would ditch the 4:10's. I would think 3:55's like you mentioned above would be a good ratio but I could be wrong others may tell you to go with 3:73's. Regardless I think you are going to be having a lot of fun. :spot:

On Kenne Bell's website they have an article from 5.0 Mustang magazine and on an AOD mustang they installed the Blowzilla running @ 10 psi and the guy had 4.10 gears. He used this as a daily driver too. So are 4.10s going to be really that bad?
